Live 89FM: Can you tell us about the inspiration behind your new song, ?
Money Mars: The Inspiration behind Don’t Talk was based off me having the desire to rap again me re-entering the music world.

Live 89FM: How does this song differ from your previous work, and what new elements did you bring into this track?
Money Mars: The way Don’t Talk differs from my previous music in the past, is its more of a insight of my personal life and upstate New York. And those are the elements I brought to this track.
Live 89FM: Walk us through your creative process. How do you typically start when working on a new song?
Money Mars: My creative process is based around how the beat makes me feel what energy I need to express naturally from myself
Live 89FM: The production on this track is incredible. Can you share some details about the collaboration and work that went into creating the sound for this song
Money Mars: As of creating the sound for Don’t Talk I wanted to
bring back a energy from My era
that I think needs to be more prominent in todays current rap situation
Live 89FM: Lyrically, what message or emotion are you trying to convey with this record?
Money Mars: The overall message and emotion of Don’t Talk is announcing the responsibility and passion for hip-hop culture
Live 89FM: How important is storytelling in your music, and how does it play a role in this song?
Money Mars: I think storytelling is really important especially when painting a lyrical picture for the listener to have a mental visual of your thoughts or your world experiences and how we can all relate in some form or another
Live 89FM: Fans are always eager to know if there are any hidden gems or Easter eggs in your music. Are there any subtle details or references in this song that listeners should pay attention to?
Money Mars: The gems or Easter eggs in my music will be the doses of knowledge of self throughout the lyrics I think that’s what’s needed right now in the rap community
Live 89FM: What do you hope listeners will take away from “Don’t Talk”?
Money Mars: That the hip-hop world has always been expanding and upstate New York has a role/ voice in hip hop it’s basically foreign land to the rap game to some extent. that we shouldn’t put ourselves in boxes based off of sounds of the current day, etc.. You should be able to have a free range of expression.
Live 89FM: Are there any specific artists, genres, or experiences that influenced the creation of “Don’t Talk”?
Money Mars: have a wide variety of music I listen to followed different artists in each of those genres including different eras of music. But for don’t talk you can say artist that I grew up listening to in my teens such as rest in peace, Stack Bundles fabulous Dipset ransom the lox and tbh know know more recent influences I’m gonna have to say you Griselda as well they’re also from upstate New York, and they have brought inspiration as well. We need more representation from upstate New York and I’m a contributing representative

Money Mars: the next project you can expect from Money Mars will be the jig is up featuring Harlem’s own Vado releasing November 22nd 2023
